BIOGRAPHY

Sammy Sosa was born November 12, 1968 inSan Pedro de Marcis Dominican Republic. Is one of the most respected left fielding sluggerthe MLB has ever seen. Sammy Sosa has bounced around from team to team, he once was a Texas Ranger, a Chicago White Sox, a Baltimore Oriole and a Chicago Cub. Right now Sosa is in the free agency catagory, but there are rumors that Sosa might be set for retirement. Last season he ended up with 588 career homeruns placing him 5th on the alltime homerun's list. When Sosa was a young boy he was very poor his first glove was made out of a milk carton cut out. He started playing baseball at the age of 14 at the age of 15 the Phillies attempted to sign the young teenager but were not allowed because it was against the rules of baseball.
