Every second hundreds cry
Blind nation USA
Thousands die every day
This is an emergency
Open up your eyes and see
All these comforts I have in life
Other children live in strife
I sit down to eat a meal
Other children have to steal
Just to get some food
Our lives are so good.
On our clothing we worry about stains
Other children sit in writhing pain
What is wrong with me?
We�re blind, can�t you see?
God has something in store
For this child that is poor
If you can save one heart
That would be quite a start
