Biography

Your imagination is only limited to as much as you allow it to be, do not confined yourself to small places. Think outside the box. It is within the mind of a graphic designer that their perspective becomes their creative masterpieces for their generation. My name is Jennifer Michelle Twigg and I am on the last couple of classes of completing my bachelor’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently working at IBM on a government contract and working on starting my own freelance company JT Designs. During my time at Allegany College of Maryland I had the opportunity to be the host of the 25th Expression Magazine commercial. It was a great honor to be able to be a part of promoting the magazine that has been on the campus for 25 years. I was not only a part of the commercial I am a published Photographer and Graphic Designer in the magazine as well. My photograph was published in 2013 and my graphic design was in 2014. To view the published work please visit the links on the home page under Expression Magazine and the video as well. My work is on page 28 for 2013 and page 45 of 2014. If you like After Effects I have a design that is in the web series Disavowed that is a publication of 373 Media. It is the opening of each series for the first 12 episodes. I am very proud to have been a part of that. I enjoy taking, editing, and restoring photographs and during my time at Southern New Hampshire I was able to come across an organization that helps people restore their memories when they have been affected by a natural disaster. It is a great way to give back and help someone restore their memories when they have lost already so much. The origination is Operation Photo Restore. It is a non-profit organization and that is done on a volunteer basis. My time is spent doing company logos for business cards and small other projects now, however I am really looking forward to graduating so that I can get started on working for myself more. I want to be able to be around more for my two daughters. Stay focused and stay grounded and never give up on your dreams. Nobody can take away your thunder, but you.
