Donating Your Hair! |

I know this is a VERY interesting topic. In June of 2003 I donated 12 inches of my hair to children with cancer. Below are some pictures of how I did it. If you want any information on how to go about doing this, contact your nearest hair dresser or search the internet for donating hair. Or contact the Locks Of Love Foundation. All are great ways to find out how to donate your hair. Please do it, help those who can't help themselves! |

The first step to donating your hair is growing your hair. Most organizations like it to be between 10-12 inches, depending where you go. Mine was 12! |

The next step is going to the hairdressers. They'll tie your hair into little ponytails and then cut it off. Just as they're doing in the picture beside this. It's so cool knowing that you're helping other people! |

The last step is seen below. And that is the finished product...now you just have to walk outside and say hello to the world...and be pretty, which i still haven't mastered yet! but yah...oh and i have NO clue why my hair dresser is dancing! |
