Chicken Nuggets Ala Hawaii
Crispy nuggets of chicken dunked in a teriyaki sauce.

Boneless Chicken breast - cut into 1" X 1" squares
1/2 C Flour
Salt
Pepper
2 eggs, beaten and in a bowl w/2 T water
2 C Panko

Dipping Sauce:
1/2 C Shoyu
1/2 C Mirin
1/2 C Sugar
1 - 2 T Toasted Sesame seeds

Take ingredients for Dipping sauce and combine in a small sauce pan and heat to a simmer, not a boil!

Mix Flour W/ salt and pepper.

Place flour mixture in a big baggy. Drop Chicken in and seal top with lots of "air" in bag. Shake well to coat.

Take chicken and dip into bowl of egg wash.

Take Chicken and then dip into another big baggy filled with Panko and shake well.

Drop coated chicken into a Wok with 2" - 3" of oil very hot. Cook until golden brown.

Take chicken from Wok and immdiately dip into sauce pan W/dipping sauce.

After about 30 seconds, remove and drain. It's ready to eat!

Note: This is great with all of the foods of Hawaii, especially rice and potato/macaroni salad. My Family likes this better than MacDonald's.
