Char Siu 2
1 ea. pork butt, cut into thick long strips
1/2 cup red food coloring
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup hoisin sauce
2 cups honey
1/2 cup shoyu

1. Pour red food coloring on pork strips & rub into pork.


2. Add all other ingredients.

3. Soak one or two nights.

4. Broil 1-1/2 hrs. on lower rack.

Note: If using a grill, cut pork into thinner strips.
