Barbecue Sauce

8 oz. unsalted butter
1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, finely diced
20 tomatoes
1/2 can hoisin sauce
1 lb. molasses
1/2 Tbsp. cayenne
1/2 Tbsp. ancho chile powder
1/2 Tbsp. pasilla chile powder
1 oz. Worcestershire sauce

Heat the butter and sweat the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the tomatoes and simmer. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour. Puree in the food processor.
