Illiteracy

I can't even imagine how it must feel not to be able to read.
We who can, must intercede.
We must give them all, somewhere to turn.
And something interesting to help them learn.

If your couldn't read the can labels in a grocery store,
How would you know what you're looking for?
There is noway that you could drive a car,
You couldn't read road signs, you wouldn't get very far.

You couldn't even help your children with their homework.
It would make you feel like a loser and a total jerk.
There is a way for you to read.
The Teal Program can help you succeed.

There are  lots of things that you can do,
If you set your mind to.
Learning to read better can improve your life,
And make things a little better for your children and wife.

Then, you will feel better, too,
At all the new things that you can now do.
All these things can help you better yourself.
And make it easier for you and everyone else.
