My Grandson And
Me
There
is this little boy that I'm so very proud of,
That
I will always shower with lots of love.
He
has such a sweet and innocent face,
That
no one in this world could ever replace.
If
I could, I would get him the moon.
I
really enjoy singing him to sleep with a tune.
It's
so very, very hard to resist
When
he puckers that lip, not to give him a kiss.
I would
do anything to take his hurt away
but
that darn teething pain seems here to stay,
I
have this very special dream
Of
fishing with my grandson in the stream.
I hope
to teach him lots of things
But
most of all, the fun and happiness that just living brings,
I
hope that he will always know
that
his Grandma loves him so.
I also
want him to always feel free
To
come and sit upon Grandma's kneww,
When
he thinks that life just isn't fair,
I
want him to know that I'll always be there.
