| Madeleine | ||||||||
| Madeleine was named for my favorite author, Madeleine L'Engle... NOT for the small girl living in a vine-covered house in Paris. The rhyme scheme of those books have caused many, many mispronunciations of Madeleine's name. It's really quite easy, the "leine" just sounds like "lynn". Madeleine is nine years old now and prefers to go by Maddy. She likes to read and play with friends, and she is a super jump-roper. Sometimes she likes to ride her pony but I think that having a riding instructor for a mom has kind of ruined that activity for her. |
