| Isabelle Oldenburg mare |

| I got to start this nice Inbegriff mare under saddle in late 2002/early 2003. She was one of five foals born at a small sporthorse breeding program; she was the favorite and supposed to become the owner's daughter's personal horse. Isabelle turned out to be extremely sensitive and the daughter prefers her horses a little more dull so Isabelle ended up for sale. I wanted to purchase her but she was out of my price range... this whole story is a little bit of a sore subject so I will just end it there and the rest of Isabelle's page will be photos. Note regarding the photos: all photos are still frames taken from a video. She is pictured here at about two to three weeks under saddle. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Did I mention that Isabelle could buck??? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is Isabelle's best impression of a racehorse. I wish we had not cut off her hind end! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Imagine this same photo, except crisp and light, with Isabelle on the bit and me in show clothes. Neat, huh? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Isabelle was so balanced and clever that she was doing flying lead changes the first week she learned to canter. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
