What has happened? Its been 44 days since I last wrote. Thats 6 weekends. Friday was pretty cool. Some friends went to San Francisco to a warehouse party - fundraiser for an art gallery which also had studio space for artists and a community art program. There were around 200 people dancing to techno, playing drums, standing around, eating ganja balls and mushroom tea. Trippy computer animations projected on a large screen. There were art things hanging around everywhere - huge puppets, funny signs. The gallery was open. It went all night. Back to santa cruz for donuts by 8.
My brother Peter and his family - Janet and Erik came out for 2 weeks in december. went snowbaording in tahoe. lots of laughs, fun watching and talking to erik. i took him to the coast and we watched surfers, tried to get hit by waves.
New years eve i spent with 6 close friends, downtown santa cruz has a party and everyone is there. we drank wine and smoked under the bridge of san lorenzo river. later at robins house i slumped in a chair and played my jaw harp with eric soloing on synthesizer - probably the top gun theme.
ive quit window graphics - the sign shop. now im looking for a new job. its been 6 weeks off of school, working part time. starting to feel useless. school starts back up feb 5th. this semester taking anthropology english spanish and philosophy. i really cant wait to get back. end of this semester i will have a 2 year degree and transfer to UCSC. thats the university in santa cruz. major? i basically want to know everything.
