On our way to and from the cove in the previous few pages, we passed this church.  It was quite impressive (though it does not have a very wide footprint, it is very deep), especially given the fact that it is more or less "in the middle of nowhere."  And although I cannot remember either the name of it or the exact date it was built, I am pretty sure I remember reading that it was built in the 1700s.
