I just wish I knew his name!! Because we don't, we call him manong, a term in Tagalog used for someone whose name one does not know, but who is familiar. Anyway, most mornings manong goes to a spot across the street from Lulu's home to sell taho. Taho is silken tofu with brown sugar syrup and small beads of clear gluten. I absolutely love it, and we ate it almost every morning (as long as he came by). The fact that he is also a very friendly guy makes it nice to purchase it from him, too! That's why he is my hero!!
