The next day we went to the airport to fly back to Manila.  There were a lot of clouds, but the weather was not bad (it was not raining, windy, etc.).  When we got to the airport, though, there were a lot of people standing outside the terminal - and no one seemed to be inside.  Al said "Uh-oh, I think the flights have been cancelled," and he was right.  The reason was because a typhoon was heading toward Luzon, and the airlines did not want to chance flying into it.  While we were waiting to have our tickets changed, it started to rain.  Well, it started to rain a lot harder by the afternoon (though the typhoon missed Legazpi).  This picture was taken from the top floor of our hotel during one of the breaks in the rain.
