Hi, Steve. Just saw that the class is doing John Wesley. Our senior pastor here in Colorado did some stories about him at today's sevice and said some things that were new to me. He said Wesley rode 300,000 miles'; that he was also interested in electricity and science and followed what his contemporary Ben Franklin was doing. He said sometimes he was attacked by mobs, and that he developed had a deep distrust of organized religion. He said he became a near vegetarian and developed a regime of exercise long before it was fashionable.
Hope maybe those tidbits may give some of the lesson teachers some ideas to track?
