Mission Trip to Mississippi -- Six members of the Koinonia class recently traveled to Mississippi as part of a mission work team to help in Katrina recovery.
Youth Snack Suppers -- In order to help support the youth program in JM, the Koinonia Sunday school class prepares dinner for the UMY on the first Sunday of each month.
Toiletries for the Mission -- On a visit to the Huntington City Mission, we were told that they have an immediate need for toothbrushes, toothpaste, deoderant, Lysol spray, and other toiletries. The really like the sample sized shampoos, as well. Koinonia has collected and financed the purchase of toiletries, and will continue to collect them on an ongoing basis.
