Printable Directions to the St. Joseph Center,
which is also the home of the state police barracks.
BY TRAIN:     

Amtrak stops right in the heart of Greensburg and is an easy, direct way of traveling to the retreat.

We have had attendees from as far as Wyoming and Massachusetts use Amtrak with ease.
IF DRIVING FROM THE WEST:
1.  Take the PA Turnpike East to Exit 7. 
The sign is marked "Irwin/Greensburg Route 30 East/West."

2.  From the toll booth, take the right ramp for 30 East toward Greensburg.

3.  You will travel on 30 East for approximately 12.3 miles. 
Here are a few landmarks to watch for:  At approx. 4.5 miles from the toll booth, you will pass Walmart on your left and a Target/TGIF plaza on the right.
At approx. 5.4 miles from the toll booth, the Greengate Mall will be on your left.
At approx. 10.5 miles past the toll booth, the Westmoreland Mall will be on your right.

4.  At approximately 11.8 miles from the PA Turnpike tollbooth, you will begin to climb a hill.  At 12.3 miles, still ascending the hill, you will see a sign on the hillside to the left that reads "ST. JOSEPH CENTER."  (Another sign also reads "State Police Barracks.")

BECAUSE OF THE MEDIAN, YOU CANNOT TURN LEFT INTO THE ST. JOSEPH CENTER DRIVEWAY.

5.  Proceed PAST the St. Joseph Center and take the IMMEDIATE next left -- which comes very quickly onto Frye Farm Road.  Make a U-Turn here and turn right back onto Rout 30 -- heading back the way you came.

6.  Turn right into the St. Joseph Center driveway and proceed up the hill.  You will pass tennis courts on your left.  At the "T" at the top of the hill, turn left.  Registration will be in the first building on your left and a parking lot is to the right.
IF DRIVING FROM THE EAST:
1.  Take the PA Turnpike West to Exit 8.

2.  Head North on Route 119 until it junctions with Route 30.

3.  Travel East on Route 30 until you pass the Westmoreland Mall on your right.

4.  You will then begin to climb a hill.  Approximately two-thirds of the way up the hill, you will see a sign on the hillside to the left that reads "St. Joseph Center."  (Another sign reads "State Polics Barracks.")

BECAUSE OF THE MEDIAN, YOU CANNOT TURN LEFT INTO THE ST. JOSEPH CENTER DRIVEWAY.

5.  Proceed past the St. Joseph Center and take the next immediate left -- which comes VERY quickly -- onto Frye Farm Road.  Make a U-Turn and get back on Route 30 -- heading back the way you came.

6.  Turn right into the St. Joseph Center driveway and proceed up the hill.  You will pass tennis courts on your left.  At the "T" at the top of the hill, turn left.

Registration will be the first building on your left and a parking lot is to the right..
