In 1998, Pleasure Ridge Park High School won the award for the National District 4 High School Baseball field of the Year. This District consists of six states. The award was voted on by the National High School Coaches.

Craig Thompson signs with Volunteer State

Player: Craig Thompson
Stats: batted .338 with 5 doubles, 1 triple, and was errorless in the field


Craig Thompson has recently committed to play for Volunteer State Community College. Craig is one of our top seniors and will be our starting center fielder this year. Last year Craig batted .338 with 5 doubles, 1 triple, and was errorless in the field.
Craig will join Matt Stanley and David Strothman who signed with Vol State earlier this year. Two other former PRP players, Chris Ellis and Seneca Newton, began playing for Vol State this year.

Two PRP Seniors Sign With Volunteer State

Matt Stanley and Dave Strothman have signed to play with Volunteer State Community College. The Pioneers will getting two of PRP's best. Dave is our top pitcher and and plays in the outfield when he is not on the mound. Matt is pegged to be our starting catcher and is one of our best hitters. Matt and Dave will be joining Chris Ellis and Seneca Newton who are currently freshman ball players for Volunteer State. Congratulations on your accomplishment!
