7-28-01 [email protected] The car is FINALLY coming around, after dealing with about every conceivable problem one could have over the last 3 months. 2 torque converters, 1 burnt up powerglide, one burnt up thrust bearing, A bad ignition coil, suspension , and various little things that kept the car from going down the track like it should.
I finally got a decent pass out of it. I'm real happy with it .
It left the line hard and straight, actually picked up and carried the front wheels for a little bit. The car has 8 second in it's very near future with a little more aggressive tune and some rear suspension work. |
