WHAT IS THIS SPANISH COURSE?
Spanish Diction and Dictation™ is a personal computer Spanish Course that teaches Spanish diction and dictation using a unique method called "Sound-letters™ to write and to speak". It uses the Spanish characteristic that has thirty sounds to speak and the respective thirty symbols to write. In this Spanish Course students rapidly become familiar with the most common sound-letters and are exposed to different situations to train their hearing and pronunciation. In this Spanish Course classic and current grammar is emphasized but attention is focused mainly on ideas formation logic and basic conversation. Spanish Diction and Dictation™ program consists of ten lessons, each lasting approximately 50 minutes. This Spanish Course is presented in two discs for personal computer.
FEATURES OF THIS SPANISH COURSE
Sound-letters: the use of unique thirty Spanish sounds each associated with every one of the thirty letters in the Spanish alphabet. Learning basics: the student gradually absorbs the Spanish language basics: vowels, numbers, use of the hours, calendar, Spanish alphabet, figures and Spanish conversation. Audio: the audio system used is developed from Microsoft DirectX ®. The audible vocabulary with its sound-letters is extensive enough to fulfill the objective of this Spanish course for personal computer. Dictation: another feature presented is the formation of the capacity to take Spanish dictation. Spanish conversation: the relation between question and answer is outlined as the foundation to communicate in Spanish. It uses the concepts of Spanish object (or subject), Spanish event (or action) and Spanish object and Spanish event properties. Continuous testing: every time that a new word or idea is learned the Spanish course program tests the apprentice's knowledge.
