| This is one of the most impressive examples of Japanese city-planning, done right. Kanazawa-shi must have been laid out on a grid, and the occasional small river was not allowed to interfere. Here, we have the river running happily right along the side of the road, with little bridges over it where necessary. Also, I love this Matsu-ki, or pine tree. |
