Astrology- Interesting facts to know!
Astrology ties humans together: We are all faced with the
same Planetary interactions, and we are all part of the same cycles.
Despite all these connections, Astrology does not tie you to
being a certain way, and it doesn't predict everything about you.
Astrology explains the energy in your life and its
potential challenges and possibilities. You can evolve
from your chart.
Astrology is about you. What you can learn from it can help
you make a choice between free will and destiny.
ELEMENTS
The 4 elements are:
fiery (dynamic)- FIRE (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
Fire represents the will. Fire signs spread warmth and enthusiasm.
They are able to fire up or motivate others. They have hot tempers.
They are people who make ideas catch fire and spring into existence.
Words: Energetic and enthusiastic
earthy(practical or neutral)- EARTH (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)
Earth represents structure and the senses. Earth signs are the builders of the zodiac
who follow through after the initiative of fire signs to make things happen.
These people are solid, practical realists who enjoy
material things and sensual pleasures. They are interested
in ideas that can be used to achieve concrete results.
Words: Practical and secure
airy (mental)- AIR (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)
Air represents concepts, ideas and abstract expression. Air signs are
mental people, great communicators. Following the consolidating earth signs,
they'll reach out to inspire others through the use of
words, social contacts, discussion and debate.
Words: Communicative and open
watery (emotional or Vital)- WATER (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
Water represents intuition and the ability to feel. Water signs complete
each four-sign series, adding the ingredients of emotion, compassion and
imagination. They are also very inconsistent, and tend to understand
and deal with other people's feelings. Water-sign people are non-verbal
communicators who attune themselves to their surroundings
and react through the medium of feelings.
Words: Intuitive and empathetic
Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable? (3 Qualities)
Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are
the start-up signs that begin each season.
These people love to be active and involved in projects.
They are usually on the fast track to success,
impatient to get things under way.
Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) move
steadily, always in control. They happen in
the middle of a season, after the initial character
of the season is established. Fixed signs are
naturally more centered. They tend to move more
deliberately and do things more slowly but thoroughly.
They govern parts of your horoscope in which you
take root and integrate your experiences.
Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
embody the principle of distribution. These are
the signs that break up the cycle, prepare the way for a
change by distributing the energy to the next group.
Mutables are flexible,adaptable, communicative.
They can move in many directions easily, darting
around obstacles.

EMOTIONAL GROUP
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer (first 4 on the zodiac)
Signs of this group are unable to control their emotions before
speaking or acting. Even when they try to handle things intellectually, their
emotions come through. The emotional group must learn to displace
emotions, to think and then react.
This is the "I" group. (Identifying the self)
INTELLECTUAL GROUP
Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio (second 4 on the zodiac)
Signs of this group take thinking, emotions, and responses and
filters them through intellect. They will tell you how they think, not how they feel,
because they don't have contact with their feelings. They disassociate themselves from their emotions in order to intellectualize.
This group has to learn to stop thinking and to act.
This is the "We" group. (Concerned with others)
THEORETICAL GROUP
Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces (last 4 on the zodiac)
This is the most complicated group of the 3. Their illnesses are
worse and their actions can be extreme. When they are positive, they can be
superb and reach enormous heights, but when they are negative, they can go completely down the tubes.
This group take their emotions and instead of intellectualizing, they transcend them.
They live in a world of ought to be, could be, and should be. The major difficulty for this group is dealing with "what is".
They need to learn the law of cause and effect.
This is the "Universal" group. (Egos are satisfied and developed by the responses of large groups)

Some other interesting astrology facts to know
- Right now we are in the age of aquarius, which is an air sign.
- There are many different types of astrology, but natal, which
analyzes people based on their time and place of birth,
is the most common.
- The days of the week can be broken down to show which planet they
were named after. Some of them are obvious even in English,
but for others it helps if you know them in Spanish or French.
In Spanish, the days of the week are:
Lunes (Monday)
Martes (Tuesday)
Miercoles (Wednesday)
Jueves (Thursday)
Viernes (Friday)
Sabado (Saturday)
Domingo (Sunday)
And in French they are:
Lundi (Monday)
Mardi (Tuesday)
Mecredi (Wednesday)
Jeudi (Thursday)
Vendredi (Friday)
Samedi (Saturday)
Dimarche (Sunday)
So now, we can pretty much figure out which planet each day of the week comes from:
Monday- Moon (Pretty obvious here lol)
Tuesday- Mars (Now that we know
Tuesday in Spanish is Martes and in
French it is Mardi, it is quite obvious)
Wednesday- Mercury (Same thing here with the Spanish and French)
Thursday- Jupiter
Friday- Venus
Saturday- Saturn (This one is actually more obvious in English)
Sunday- Sun (Also very obvious in English)
And if anyone is wondering why there is none for Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto,
I am not really sure on that either sorry!
