God Sayz to Psychics

There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.  For all that do these things are an abomination to the Lord...
For these nations... hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for you, the Lord your God has not suffered you to do so.

And it came to pass... a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul... and cried, saying, These men are servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation.  And this she did many days.  But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.  And he came out the same hour.  And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas... brought them to the magistrates... and commanded to beat them.
