I am alive and well and communicating from san francisco.
Greyhound have lost my bag which is not so great as i have no clean clothes, toilet bag etc & am now a leader of the great unwashed.
Damian should have a rough itinerary, if you know any addresses of friends of yours or friends of yours & gillian's, then they would be appreciated.
The hostels have been good to very nice.
Vancouver was a bit ropey but I made up for that by playing chess from 9pm to 2:10 am.
Four games against a Swiss guy - they get everywhere - you may have noticed that, especially in Geneva.

The Nashville address would be useful as well as I'd like to see some real Country and Western. Elvis IS alive! He's the one who stole my bag!!!
He cant live in the same clothes for 20 odd years can he?
I'm allowed to spend 100 pounds 'displacement money' and I plan to continue.
The only shame is that all I've seen of SF is the Greyhound Station, the hostel & the Public Library.
I might go on an organised tour just to say I've seen SF.

have filled out claim form at greyhound - listing everything from jeans & waterproof top to pants and socks! They were most impressed with the list.
I travelled from one state to another so the FBI will deal not the SF police. Can you imagine how they will react!!! I will buy clothes so I can continue. If my bag does turn up I can have it sent on to a Greyhound station free of charge. They will start to search at places on my route and further afield for 30 days.
After 30 days the search turns to Dallas, Texas the main terminal of Greyhound where I imagine the holds thousands of bags etc. My bag did have a luggage tag listing the cardiff address & tel no so you may be contacted.
Please buy any Western Mails & SW Echos containing Glamorgan reviews as I will be keen to read them. At the library whilst waiting for terminal have looked at Times and read reviews for all the 3 days play and further reviews.
Im planning on going on an organised tour of SF so at least Iwill see something of this place.
