Hak Fu Moon (Black Tiger)

Hak Fu Moon (Muhn) or Black Tiger as it's commonly known is a rare style of kung fu.Black Tiger is comprised of both Northern and Southern shaolin fighting systems.Black Tiger is said to have been the highest level of Shaolin training.

Hak Fu Moon was created by a Shaolin monk named Soo Hak Fu.He was given this name by his father.Soo being his Family name "Hak" meaning "Black" and "Fu" being Tiger a very rare tiger "Moon" meaning "association" thus the name Hak Fu Moon.

Soo Hak Fu passed his art to another Shaolin monk who's name has been lost to time. What is known is that monk passed the style to another monk named Fung Ping-Wai.Fung Ping-Wai passed the style to it's Fourth Grandmaster Wong Cheung.Grandmaster Cheung was well known all over Hong Kong for his vast knowledge of different kung fu styles.

Grandmaster Wong Cheung taught kung fu for over 40 years before his passing into the next realm. Before his passing Grandmaster Wong Cheung passed his knowledge onto Master Frederick C.K. Woo.

Master Woo began his Black Tiger training at an early age under Grandmaster Wong Cheung meeting his master at the break of dawn each morning to train.By the time he was 25 years old Master Woo was the Chairman of the Black Tiger Association in Hong Kong.

At the age of 26 years old Master Woo left Hong Kong  in search of the american dream and to spread Huk Fu Moon to the United States.

Cheung Kune Pai (Sung Style Longfist)

During the Hou Han Dynasty (20 - 220 A.D.) A great warrior from the chinese army, General Kwok Yee pieced together the finer aspects of chinese boxing and created his own style of fighting Cheung Sao or long hand boxing.

Many years later, during the Sung Dynasty (North),the father Emperor Chao Kuang-Yin A.K.A. Sung Tai Jow, an accomplished martial artist, altered General Kwok Yee's long hand and the finer aspects of Shaolin Kung Fu and created Long Fist Boxing.

This style gained much respect as the first offensive system, but only after being kept secret for three hundred years. It was a depature from the short range styles of the time.

Cheung Kune Pai was taught only to the Royal family and the most trusted Imperial Guard.

Later in the southern Sung Dynasty General Yeuh Fei an accomplished lance fighter made further improvements on the style based on weapon techniques.

General Yeuh Fei is also credited with creating the principles of Hsing Yee and Ying Jow Chin Na or Eagle Claw style.
