This was my third ride. Before it, I had a 79' Dodge Colt which I bought for $50 from a neighbor. My parents had one which my older brother blew-up, so they gave it to me. I noticed that there was one in a near-by neighbors yard so I asked if it was for sale. He said "actually I was going to call the junkyard tomorrow, is 50 dollars too much" I said "I'll be right back." Did some parts swapping then called the junkyard and had my parents colt taken away for $25. I had a $25 dollar ride for a long time before the four-wheeling phase. That's what this 78' Bronco was all about. Sold it when I went to college.
During college I had a lot of bad luck with cars. I bought an 83 Toyota Celica...great car until it blew. Then came a desperate moment where I had no money and no car so I bought a Buick Le Sabre Wagon....9 passenger beast. Who cares about the rest of my car history...I just have this one more car to add........ |
