This letter confirming that I Luis Roseira was as the elected Deputy Prince Regent, Grand Master of the OSMTH (Regency), was elected and legally confirmed as Prince Regent, Grand Master of the OSMTH Regency. The election was held by the five Lt Generals of the said OSMTH, who as per the 1705 statutes convened as a Grand Convent General in Porto on this day. I Luis Roseira am the elected Prince Regent, Grand Master of the OSMTH. As the Prince Regent of OSMTH my first action along with the Magisterial Council in Porto along with the full support of the OSMTH members, was to legally retire Mr Fontes. This was as a result of Mr Fontes old age of 79, and his inability to run the Order correctly these last few years. Mr Fontes has these last past few years resided in Spain, the OSMTH Order has been brought into gross disrepute as has been shown in the Media, by false people who claim to be, Association of Knight Templars, but are not members of the OSMTH. Some of them have even admitted expelled OSMTH members who have no connection to the OSMTH Regency Order, or even held membership within the OSMTH.

Many forged and false brevets have been issued under the name of OSMTH over these past few years that have no recognition, nor even registered here in Porto. This sad state of affairs has led many people to believe they are members of our Order, but sadly they are not. Therefore, the only way to deal with this whole affair and cut off any connection with these false people that have abused our Order is, as was decided by the Magisterial Council in Porto on this day 18/09/2008 to cease the use of the name OSMTH except in our history only. This OSMTH name and title will no longer be used by us until such times as there are no more people able to falsely claim to be our members, and bring our good name into gross disrepute.

We as the Magisterial and Sovereign Council as per the 1705 statutes revert to our Belgian Order French name using the English translation of: Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem. SKT-SMOTJ.

I now confirm that any and all admissions of Grand Priories, Commanderies, or new members to the OSMTH Regency within the last few years before September 2008 are now by the Orders Sovereign Council, and by our Lawyers in Portugal, legal actions all classed as legally null and void. All members who believe they have been admitted to our SMOTJ Order, or wish to remain loyal to the Order in Portugal will need to reapply direct to the following contact for re-admission to the true Order. Write with full details of Rank, date joined, member of which Grand Priory, and send non-returnable photocopies of all your documentation. AIMS AND IDEALS OF THE ORDER.

The aims of the Order are doing: Charitable Works amongst the Sick,the Poor,the Dying. To Promote and Protect all Christians/Non Christians from Oppression and Maltreatment Worldwide,to obtain Freedom of Religion for all Christians, also for all Non Christians within the World. To eventually set up and operate Interfaith groups in line with our Orders and the Church's Ecumenical Policy. We are still active as supporting members of ACTS, as founder members when it was first formed and are still active in contributing to it. We also do research into our own Nations, History, Language, Music, Culture. To support the, Sovereign Orders of the SKT-SMOTJ, and IFA-OCMTH(R)TM and to support our fellow Christian Associates in all of our recognised Ecumenical Orders. Our members and associates who are still currently serving and working in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Phillipines, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, and elsewhere as such. Our work is all unpaid, and voluntarily in various ways, by our members. Our Aim is to promote Scotland. This as a Free and Sovereign Nation, Governed by all of its People. To Serve God, and further our own Christian beliefs, whenever possible. To Protect the Weak, the Poor, the Oppressed. As Sovereign Knight Templars. We would quote to all; OMNE SOLUM FORTI PATRIA EST. Today's Scottish Knight Templars here in Scotland still carry on the ancient and traditional codes of practise and principles of Chivalry in their daily lives. On Ceremonial Occassions our SMOTJ Knights can all be easily identified,recognised by their White Mantles, with the Blood Red, Eight Pointed Cross on their Breasts. This a symbol of the Order, known and feared throughout the World. Given to us by Pope Honorious this as a symbol of our Martydom in the Crusades.

NATURE OF THE ORDER.

The Order is Autocratic, Ecumenical, Strictly Non Masonic. All Practising Christians are welcomed into membership without prejudice of Sex, Race,Colour, Nationality. We do not accept Freemasons, or ex Freemasons, into our Order. They not being accepted as being Christians,to us, or to any of the Christian and Orthodox Churches whom we as Christian Knights fully support. We remind all Catholics and Orthodox Christians,the ban on them taking the Holy Sacraments if joining the Freemasons. This confirmed by His Holiness POPE BENEDICT XV1,and all of the Patriarchs, the ban still stands for eternity.

The Title Le Chef Mondial is passed on in Perpetuity within the Scottish Grand Priory of SKT-SMOTJ only. The title was passed in December 2008 to the Next legally elected Grand Prior of Scotland, elected by secret ballot of our SMOTJ current members of this Order only. Current Chef Mondial is HSE Chev Graham Russell. We are sure the reader will concur that to be a true Scottish Knight Templar, one must be able to support and to uphold the unique position that Scotland now holds within Templar History? A History which is totally superior to any of the false claims made by all these other false Neo Templars. If you do not accept this Sovereign Orders position. Please do not waste your time in attempting to join us.

Beware of Imposters, Templars of the 1995 onwards,Self Created Orders, false Association of Knight Templars, or Poor Knights of Christ. They are not recognised by OSMTH or SMOTJ etc.
