This letter will serve as a reference for you and your company. Our Community College District has enjoyed the cost savings and improved administrative efficiencies since implementing the program recommended by your firm.
The consultative process employed by you demonstrates what we had believed to be true all along. Maintenance contracts can for the most part be converted to a time & materials basis as long as you have a financial and operational partner to guarantee the budget and administer the program (inventory management, purchase order processing and vendor payment).
Our initial fear which I am happy to report is unfounded, was that vendor response times may suffer. What we have found in fact is that the vendors now know that if they do not perform, our College is a much better leveraged position to change vendors whenever we deem necessary. We continue to buy equipment, supplies and other services from the same vendors, which is additional leverage as well
.We have enjoyed working with you and your staff and look forward to continued savings over the years.
