Jesu-Mariae is a non-stock, non-profit educational corporation duly registered with the SEC. It had its modest beginnings in 1968 as the Creative Preschool in Makati and in 1974 as the Pre-schooler Learning Center, a progressive Kindergarten and Play Center relocated at 23 Mary Help of Christians Street, (originally Paraguay St.) Better Living subdivision, Paranaque Metro Manila.

Over the years, the school grew out of life and material resources of Better Living Subdivision and its environs. It became the center for every, academic, civic, social and religious affair in the community.

The community and student population made expansion inevitable. In 1984 , it was renamed Jesu-Mariae School, offering elementary courses which gained decs recognition in 1989. starting with school year 1990-1991, secondary courses were offered, obtaining decs recognition in january, 1992. A special education (sped) program for slow learners as well as the gifted and talented now forms an integral part of its personalized service.

the first batch of high school graduates left its portals in march, 1993. in 1993-1994, on the 25th year of foundation, it grew in size, with buildings on 3 sites on both side of MHC street, for high-school, grade-school and prep students. an expanded career center began in 1993. a center for international study through a megalink with a sister company, the philippine international youth assistance and services (piyas), inc. offers opportunities for global education which started in 1978.
