general objectives

jesu-mariae is an institution that seeks to provide through various disciplines and setting, opportunities for the formation of values and attitudes, aquisition of knowledge and development of skills which will enable the student to face, accept, appreciate, and fulfill his role in a developing nation.

recognizing that education is the formation of the human person with respect to his ultimate goal, jesu-mariae school aims to provide and education which will lead the student to express his dignity as a humanperson miving on to arrive at his goal -the creator.

from a school life regulated by discipline, the jesu-mariae brings to his milieu his personal and unique contribution as a child of god and worthy citizen of this country.

the preschool objectives

the preschool aims to:

- provide a home-like atmosphere which will bridge the gap between home and a big format school set-up.

- to provide constant, consistent and sympathetic handling of children by mature adults taking into account individual needs and differences.

- develop positive self-image, self confidence and self-reliance by providing companionship to the children in various socialization venues.

- develop a caring and responsible individual by encouraging the proper identification, use and care of parts of the body, and rightly reacting to different situations and environments.

- develop a child in accordance with the development patterns of his age level and the precepts of christian education.

the gradeschool objectives

jms aims to develop a child who is able to:

- focus as basic knowledge and skills to assist him communicating his ideas, feelings, and beliefs.

- observe, analyze, synthesize and evaluate so he can intelligently respond to any given situation.

- perform accurately the four fundamental operational mathematical skills in daily life situations.

- inculcate love of one's school and project its lofty and creative ideals wherever he goes.

- take pride in being a filipino and appreciate his country's cultural heritage and desirable traditions at the same time reflecting on one's uniqueness and individual difference.

- practice christian values and attitiudes and recognize the role of a growing filipino in a developing nation.

the highschool objectives

1. intellectual aspects

a. develop the skills and strategies essential in meeting the demands of college work.

b. aquire mastery of mathematical processes and scientific concepts so in understanding his world, find solutions to problems and effect improvements in his quality of life.

c. express himself effectively both oral and written language in english and filipino; and appreciate the relationship between language and culture.

d. apply knowledge and skills in use of information technology in analyzing, clarifying, synthesizing and evaluating for wise decision making,

e. develop logical and critical thinking skills.

2. socio-physical aspects

a. foster personal discipline to form a plan of life based on intelligent career choices

b. assume responsibilities using his aquired skills and god-given tallents and potentials for himself and for his community

3. moral-spiritual aspects

a. implement a value-laden plan for physical and mental health

b. respond to god's love by accepting himself and others, and likewise serving as a good steward to all that god has created

c. crontributes actively to school, community or church services and be spontaneous recipient of god's love and blessings

4. cultural aspects

a. manifest a sense of belongingness through practical involvement in activities that are truly filipino in nature and christian in outlook.

b. take pride in being a filipino and appreciate his cultural heritage

c. participate in the current political, social and economic issues at the national and international levels, be aware and accept his role in the society in which he lives.
