As you no doubt gathered from the splash page, my name is Joel McCoy. Somehow, you have found your way into my little corner of the web. The goal of this website is to introduce you to my pencil drawings. While most are rooted in fantasy, many of the pictures draw inspiration from the on-line role-playing game Everquest.
My bio is as follows: As of this writing I am 23 years of age. I live in Franklin, North Carolina, USA. I received my four-year degree from Western Carolina University in Art, concentration in Graphic Design.
I have been drawing all my life, and , for the most part, taught myself how to draw. College helped, but college also tried to teach me that comic drawing is evil and bad. For this reason, I took a break from drawing for four years. Only recently have I regained the inspiration to draw in comic style again. This web-site is dedicated to all the teachers in my life who tried to inspire me to pursue my craft and my vision (ha ha).
