HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN ME(Part 11)

The sky streaked with the colors of pink and gold. Usagi sighed and
inhaled the scent of the sunset. Beside her Mamoru sat as he held her
small hand in his. It had been awhile since he had ever been this
happy.One thought in his mind, however, plagued his content thoughts.
Usagi turned and saw the sadness in his face and squeezed his hand.
"What's wrong?" she asked softly.
"I was just thinking that I'll never get to say another sunset with 
you." Mamoru answered and somehow his eyes began to water again. Usagi
bit her lip to keep own eyes from watering. She couldn't reassure him
that he would cause she didn't even know if he would.She took a calming
breath and touched his hard face.
"Don't say that." Usagi said. "We don't know what's gonna happen, for 
all you know Mamo-chan, you could wake up tommorrow and be able to 
see."
"Or I might not" Mamoru responded."I might never be able to see the
waves at the beach in the summer or the first snow of winter" He 
looked down. "Or even our child's face. I might never see our 
Chibi-Usa's face."
"Wait here." Usagi said and went inside. In seconds she came back to
the balcony and sitting in her chair, placed a ripe, fuzzy, peach in 
her husband's hands.
"Why did you give me a peach Usako?"he inquired a perplexed look on
his handsome face.
"Tell me, how does it feel?"she questioned him.
"Why?",he said to her and she let out an aggrevated groan. He smiled to
himself imagining her frustrated face. Mamoru had always thought that
she was beautiful when she was angry.
"Just tell me",she commanded firmly though she was grinning. Usagi knew
that he was imagining her angry face.He held the fruit in his hand for
a few minutes.
"It's soft, kind of fuzzy" Mamoru said to her."What does this have to 
do with anything?"
"Have you ever noticed how soft a peach is? Or how sweet it
tastes?"Usagi said to him and took the peach. She closed her
eyes and took a bite. Her eyes widened when she realized how
good it tasted and took another bite.'Slow down Usagi, save that for 
later'
"Not really"he said to her.
"Well it was cause you were always so focused on how things look",she
said to him."Like you would look at sunset and think how beautiful it 
was. But don't you ever notice how warm the sunset feels on your face
or how cold the ocean water is when it touches your feet?Or even-" 
Usagi lean over and kissed her husband tenderly on the lips."Or even 
how sweet a kiss can taste?" She caressed his cheek."Just because 
you’re blind doesn't mean you have to stop living. See things with your 
ears, your hands but most of all see things with your heart. Only then
are people truly not blind." All this she said softly to him, her 
voice filled with love.'My Usako,the eternal optimist'. They sat in 
silence and in front of them the sun began.The stars began
to rise from their slumber but the sun had not yet descended.
"Do you know what the worse thing about being blind is?",Mamoru said
sadly as the sun blanketed his face in warmth. "That I might never 
see your beautiful face again."
And for once Usagi had nothing to say.

"So how are we gonna get Nephrus to come to us?" Makoto asked and sat
down. The senshi had all gathered in Usagi's apartment to discuss the
upcoming attack they were planning. "I know that Ami has a tracking 
device and if we could just get him to attack than we'd know his 
location."
"I have no idea." Minako responded. "I mean this guy appears out of 
nowhere at anytime,there no way we could track him down"
"I'm completely blocked." Rei said and looked around."Anyone else?"
Everyone shook their heads and for awhile it was quiet.
"How about Ami? Does she have any ideas?" Haruka asked. "Ami?" No 
answer. "Ami?" Still no answer. Everyone turned around and groaned as 
they saw that Usagi and Ami weren't paying attention. The two were too
busy eating.
"Ohmigod, you have got to taste this Ami!" Usagi said and slipped
something on her plate. Ami gobbled it up quickly. Haruka shook her 
head.'Pregnant women...'
"That is good!" Ami exclaimed. "Try this!"
"HELLO! ATTENTION PREGNANT PEOPLE!"Minako called out to them and
snapped her fingers in Usagi's face.
"What!" she asked, irratated. Her mind wasn't really focused on 
anything but the food in front of her.
"Have you guys been listening to a word we're saying?",Michiru
inquired.
"Of course they weren't!",Rei said scoldingly.
"We were too."Ami answered back."There is a way to get Nephrus to come
to us"
"How?",Hotaru asked curiously.
"Simple",Ami said."We lured him there" Everyone raised their
eyebrows,they had to hear this.
"How do you supposed we do that?",Haruka said and folded her arms.
"Live bait" She said simply.They looked at each other in confusion
but quickly the idea registered in their heads.
"What's that supposed to mean?",Usagi asked loudly then realized that 
everyone was looking at her with a cynical smile.'Oh no....' She
crossed her arms."NO WAY"

Mamoru couldn't help but be nervous.Andrew was his friend and he knew
that Andrew would do anything for him.But well this might go beyond the
bounds of the best friend contract.Andrew noticed his friend's 
nervousness and smiled remembering that the only time he was like this
was when he was gonna propose to Usagi.
"You okay?" Andrew asked and sat down next to his friend."You look 
kind of pale.You need something?"
"No..it's just I wanted to ask you something?",he said and twiddle his
thumbs like a nervous kid.
"Go ahead",Andrew said.
"Well how much do you think you know about me?",Mamoru countered.
"I think I know more about you than anyone else with the exception of
Usagi of course",he told him."Why?You keeping a secret from me?"
"Yeah....you could say that",Mamoru said."Can you hand me one of the
roses in the vase in the corner?" Andrew got up and took a rose.
'Might as well humor him' As he put it in his hand Andrew began to 
wonder what his friend had in mind.Holding the rose in his hand 
brought Mamoru back to the days of being Tuxedo Kamen.He smiled to 
himself and felt the energy of his rose leading him to a target.
Skillfully he threw the rose and knew he had his target when he heard
Andrew grasp.
"You're just as good as Tuxedo Kamen!",he exclaimed looking at rose
that was standing straight on the wall."How'd you do that?"
"I'm Tuxedo Kamen",Mamoru said in a solemn way and he heard Andrew
laugh.
"Yeah right!Now you're gonna tell me that Usagi is Sailormoon",Andrew
said laughing.'Mamoru has got to be crazy to think I'd believe that!'
"She is",he stated.
"Uh-huh!Like I would believe-" He stopped when he saw the look on 
Mamoru's face and the smile on his face vanished. "You're not 
joking,are you?"
"No."he said and began to recite the tale he knew so well."There once
a time called the Silver Millenium. My name back then was Prince 
Endymion, future ruler of the Earth.I was in love with the Princess
of the Moon, Serenity...." With that he told his friend of the attack 
and of their reincarnation on Earth.The first time he met Usagi,his
discovery of being Tuxedo Kamen and of Usagi being Sailormoon. He
continued into him being kidnapped by Queen Beryl and of her defeat 
thanks to Sailormoon.When had gotten to the end it was clear to 
Andrew the true identities of the Sailor Senshi. He also began to 
understand why Mamoru and Usagi would run off at the weirdest times 
and why they had been so tired sometimes. "Our new enemy is Queen 
Beryl's son, Nephrus. He's in love with Usagi--and in trying to 
protect her, I was stabbed with a poison knife. I would have died had 
Usagi not made me transform into Endymion. Now here I am telling you 
this story."
"So you're saying that little kid with pink hair was YOUR
daughter" Andrew said.
"Yeah" Mamoru said nodding and laughed."Hard to believe, huh?"
"Among other things..."Andrew muttered and smiled. "So you're also 
saying that the The Three Lights turned into girls when they 
transformed.That must have broke the girls’ hearts" He looked at 
friend in amazement, proud of him. "Why didn't you say anything 
sooner?"
"It was for your protection",Mamoru said to his friend."Me and Usako
felt that if we told you or her family it would put you guys in
danger." He looked down and took a deep breath. "There's a reason I 
told you this."
"What?" Andrew asked.
"I can't protect Usagi when she fights but you can",he said and took
his friend's hand.
"HEY!HEY!I DON'T SWING THAT WAY MAN!"Andrew yelled and jumped up.
"We're friends, but not those kind of friends"
"Sit down Andrew. Remember? I'm married to a beautiful, odango haired 
blond.",Mamoru said. "Just give me your hand" Reluctantly Andrew put 
his hand in Mamoru's. A light between their hands began to glow 
,growing bigger in seconds.
"You have to promise that after this, at all costs, you must protect
Usako...."

"I WILL NOT!NO WAY!",Usagi yelled as she paced around the room."I
refused to strut around some abandoned place in a shorter senshi
uniform.What kind of crazy idea is that Minako?!"
"I just think a little snip here,a little snip there and voila!We'll
have him drooling all over you! The guy won't know what hit him!"
Minako said, trying to convince her friend. Usagi didn't know that the
only way to lure a guy is sexiness, even the evil guys fell for that. 
This one guy especially, since he was so hot for Usa. It made Minako 
cringe to think of him getting close to her friend though.
"I will pretend to walk around alone,I will pretend to have a fight
with you guys but I will NOT pretend to be pretty soldier slut
Sailormoon!That is FINAL!" Usagi sat on the couch and cross her legs.
Everyone look in surprise at how forceful Usagi was. She stuck to her
guns and for that everyone admired her. Rei looked at her best friend
proudly.'She's gonna be a great queen.'
"Wow Usa.Miss Bitch, I like it" Makoto said and patted Usagi on the
back. 
"On to the next subject," Ami glanced at her list and looked down.
"What are we going to do now that...Tuxedo Kamen is unavailiable?"
Everyone silenced and glanced at Usagi who was sitting quietly to 
herself. She looked down.When she looked up they saw that tears lined 
her eyes.
"W-W-Well me and Mamo-chan decided that maybe we could find a temporary
replacement" she said chokingly. Usagi never realized how much it
affected her that Mamoru would not be Tuxedo Kamen. Her protecter.
'Damn Nephrus,I'll get that son of a-'
"Whose it gonna be?"Haruka asked and looked around for suggestions.In
the back of everyone mind's they all thought that perhaps it might
be Seiya. After all he was very protective of Usa and all of them
already had powers. It would seem, however, that Seiya taking Mamoru's
identity could cause some problems.
"No need to decide",a voice said from the door and they all were
surprise to Mamoru standing at the doorway of Rei's temple.
"Mamo-chan,what are you doing here?",Usagi said and threw her arms
around him.He took her hand and she led him to a seat.
"I found someone to take my place",he said.
"Honey maybe we should just forget about it-"
"I think it's a little too late for that",Andrew said upon entering 
the temple.With that he took a rose and transformed into Tuxedo
Kamen. Everyone look in awe as Andrew stood before them in fancy
attire.
"Wow he looks pretty cute in that" Michiru remarked and looked at
Haruka to see if she was jealous.
"Just like Tuxedo Kamen-",Rei said.
"In a blonde version"interuppted Minako.
Everyone seemed pleased, but Usagi stood holding Mamoru's hand.He
squeezed Usagi's hand. 'He may be Tuxedo Kamen but I will protect you 
always' Andrew walked to Usagi and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"This is only temporary",he said and looked in her eyes.She nodded
reassuring him that she was cool with it.
"So you think you can handle our training?",Haruka said with a glint in
her eye.
"Yeah Tuxedo Andrew,you may have the clothes but can you fight?",Rei
said with a smile.
"That depends",he said grinning.
"On what?",Makoto asked.
"Will you be wearing those short sailor skirts?" Andrew asked and was 
responded with a bunch of pillows thrown in his face.

Months passed, four to be exact and the Senshi trained long and
hard.They worked until they were all whipped, Usagi especially. All of
them knew her motives were mainly for revenge and anger but they 
couldn't blame her. She was careful though in fear that she might hurt
her child.Usagi now a full nine months and ready to burst at any 
moment was getting impatient.For two reasons, 1)Nephrus hadn't shown 
up and 2)her baby hadn't shown. Chibi-Usa seemed to be taking her 
sweet time on coming out. It seemed that she was trying to annoy Usagi
from the womb. Ami was five months and though she was smart one Ami 
was unaware that this would be her most emotional time. She cried more
than Usagi now.The girl almost eletrocuted herself when she started to
cry over a poem she had read on the internet. All anyone had to say was 
‘poor Greg’. Makoto had begun her wedding plans and Minako, still in 
her trying-to-get-married-state, went with Makoto to all the bridal 
shops. Of course Yaten came along actually he was DRAGGED along. 
Rei,besides training, spent her time helping Ami and Usagi. She knew 
how it was to be pregnant and not to mention that her and Chad were 
trying for a son,that was what the rest of her time was devoted to. 
Minako tried to help lending Rei all of her lingerie. Needless to say 
Rei was surprised when Minako came to the temple lugging a BOX.You'd 
think she owned lingerie store,watch out Victoria's Secret.Michiru and
Haruka were focusing on their job. Michiru had a concert coming up and 
Haruka was having some impromptu races with other people.Hotaru was 
spending her time with Shingo most of the time and even Setsuna had to
admit she thought they were so adorable together! He brought her 
seventeen roses for her birthday and she had given him an I.D. bracelet.
Andrew was doing good for a beginner he fought hard and was quick on 
his feet. If only he could keep his defenses strong each time one of 
the Sailor Senshi's skirts went up by accident... if Rita found out...
 As for herself, Setsuna couldn't help but admit that her life was
BORING. Sure she had this important job as Guardian of Time but
sometimes she wished she could have a little fun too.Walking down the
street Setsuna watched the people of Tokyo in their everyday lives.They 
all seemed so carefree, none of them carried the responsibility she 
had.'Gosh, I need an ice cream' Setsuna had fetish for ice cream,they 
never had that in the Gates of Time.She had been so distracted that 
Setsuna had crashed unintentionally into someone.'Idiot, Idiot, Idiot!'
"Ouch",she said unenthusiatically. Setsuna blushed when she realized
she had run into Taiki,one of the Three Lights."I'm so sorry"
"It's alright", he responded quietly and gave her a gentle smile.The
two hardly saw each other except for Senshi meetings and training.There was
no time to socalize during those times. She began to feel nervous. Not
to mention kind of weak in the knees. Setsuna didn't realized that 
Taiki was admiring her emerald color hair and mysterious eyes.They 
made eye contact but look down quickly. Their nervousness over each 
other created a silence.
"I've gotta go now", she said quickly and ran off quickly.Taiki 
watched the beautiful woman walk away and an alarm went off in her 
head. 'Go after her!' 
"Setsuna!" he said as he caught up with her. She stopped her hair
whipping back and forth. "Um...where are you going?"
"To get some Ice Cream." She smiled at him. "You wanna come?" He 
nodded and the two walked off in silence.Taiki didn't know exactly 
what was coming over him.He hadn't felt this way since...Ami...but 
that was a long time ago.They were friends now. He felt some kind of 
closeness toward Setsuna. He felt drawn to her. Setsuna walked timidly
trying not fall on her face. She had asked for something different and
now here it was.

Hotaru had to admit, she was getting a little out of it-- but it wasn't 
her fault or maybe it was. She shouldn't have fallen in love. 'No one 
can help falling in love, Hotaru' The voice in her head spoke the truth.
They had been together for a few months now and God, everytime she
looked at him she swore that her heart would jump. As she strolled 
down the street her eyes focused on a window displaying a violet silk 
shirt. She had never been much of a shopper but well the design was so
intricate and lovely that Hotaru walked into the store quickly in fear 
someone would take it. Entering she was surprise to see another young 
woman with auburn hair admiring it. 
"Nice, isn't it?" the girl said and Hotaru nodded."Not my color though."
The girl glanced at her, admiring her porcelain skin and violet eyes.
"It would look great on you." The girl extended her hand and gave her
a warm smile."My name's Mika."
"I'm Hotaru, nice to meet you" They shook hands and she felt herself 
at ease with this girl. She wasn't usually like this with strangers.
"So what brings you into this store?"
"Actually it was that shirt that lured me in here, but well, I have to
find a new dress anyways" Mika said as she examined a burgundy silk
dress. Hotaru found the rack which held the violet shirt and began to
look for her size. Finding it, she held it to her chest seeing how it
would fit."You see, in a week, my boyfriend Shingo and I will be having
our one year anniversary" Hotaru dropped the shirt on the floor
and the color left her cheeks. "I'm surprising him with a homemade 
dinner. What do you think?" Mika looked up and was concerned that the 
girl had loss all color. "Are you alright Hotaru? You're so pale!"
"Y-Y-Yes I'm okay.A little nauseous, but okay",she muttered. "So are 
you talking about Shingo Tsukino?" Her voice was calm but inside she 
was shaking horribly.
"Yeah, we were childhood friends but we started dating.",Mika informed
her then looked at the girl suspiciously. "How do you know him?"
"I'm a friend of Usagi, his sister" Hotaru said quietly. She wasn't
doing so good and she bit her lip to keep from bursting into tears.
"You know,I-I-think I'm gonna be going" She could feel herself
trembling. She had been betrayed. No anger was running through 
her--just hurt. Raw hurt.
"Do you want me to get you anything? Some asprin or something?" Mika's 
concern was so sincere Hotaru couldn't even hate her!
"No thanks, I'll see you" With a wave Hotaru ran quickly until she
reached a corner where she could no longer hold back the rush of tears
from falling.....

As soon as he saw her Shingo dropped the bags of groceries he held.
A pang of sadness stabbed him as he watched Hotaru burst into tears.
Quickly he walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder but
unexpectedly she pushed him away.
"Stay away from me please",she said quietly and walked away.As he
stood in surprise Shingo didn't realize that Mika was approaching.
"Is Hotaru alright?",she asked and he jumped in the air.'She knows!'
"You know her?"he asked in surprise seeing that she was so calm about
it. His mind however was on the beautiful doll faced girl that just
walked away from him.
"Yeah she's Usagi's friend, isn't she?" She took his hand and Shingo
took a step away from her."What's wrong? Who is Hotaru?"
"That..." he hesitated and Shingo knew that the jig was up.It should
have been up months ago and now it was time to not only be truthful 
to Mika but to his heart also."That is the girl who I am in love with" 
He lowered his head but looked up into Mika's eyes."I'm sorry"
"No, I'm sorry" Her eyes were filled with tears and Mika gave him a
gentle smile. She finally understood what had been going on these
past months,why he had been so distracted. It was alright though,inside
she knew she'd get over it. Kissing his cheek she looked into his eyes.
"Go after her"

The bench was wet as the morning dew, but that didn't seem to faze 
Hotaru one bit. As she sat down a new set of tears began to fall.What 
an idiot she had been! Hotaru didn't realize that Usagi and Mamoru 
were only inches from her.
"Hotaru,what's the matter?" Usagi asked, concerned. She had never
seen the young one so upset, but she knew what it was about.'Boy 
trouble'Between her sobs the young girl retold the whole story and the end
began to cry even more. Usagi stroked the girl's hair and let her lay
on her shoulder."I know he didn't mean it. He loves you,I know he 
does"
"Why didn't he tell me,Usa?" she asked, crestfallen.
"Was it possible he didn't want to hurt you?",Mamoru asked and
Usagi squeezed his hand."There must have been some reason. Mika and 
him were friends for a long time, and when you care for someone, you 
don't wanna hurt them,even if it meant your own head in the end. Usako 
is right,Shingo does love you, I hear in his voice when he talks to 
you."
"Are you sure?" He could hear the doubt in her voice. Mamoru had
developed a keen sense of reading someone's voice or movements.
"Trust us! Don't you know who you're talking to?",he said and smile.
"We are the famous Tuxedo Kamen and Sailormoon! Romeo and Juliet don't
hold a candle to us! We have died numerous times for one another! Not 
to mention we have a daughter in Crystal Tokyo! Face it, me and Usako 
wrote the book of love!" She kissed his cheek tenderly. "Plus if he 
does anything to hurt you, you have a group of bonafide Sailor Senshi 
to kick his ass." The two got up and Hotaru smiled at their affection 
for one another. She used to have that. Her smile faded and Usagi put 
an motherly arm around her. 
"Come on,we have practice",Usagi said and then whisper in her ear."Have
faith Hotaru,things always turn out good in the end."
"I hope so" she muttered back.

'The Famous Tuxedo Kamen and Sailormoon! My sister and brother in law!'
Shingo didn't know whether he was losing his mind or that he had really
heard that.When he spotted them talking, he snuck up behind a tree only
to hear Mamoru reveal his and Usagi's identities. The idea didn't seem
so bad though. He could imagine Mamoru being Tuxedo Kamen but Usagi...
his sister the crybaby?! Trying to imagine it gave him a headache.
Dozens of questions plagued his mind. What did Hotaru have to do with 
them? What was Crystal Tokyo? And what did Mamoru mean when he said 
they DIED numerous times for one another? Shingo followed the trio 
careful not to make his prescence known.Their destination ended in a 
forest in the far part of town. Shingo had better things to do besides
sitting in a bush watching a bunch of people. But these people were 
the Sailor Senshi! Shingo watched as his sister transformed into 
Sailormoon and to his surprise she was no longer pregnant!
"Hotaru your turn" Usagi said, Shingo's mouth dropped to the
floor. 'Her turn?!' He watched in amazement as he girlfriend or 
ex-girl thanks to his stupidity transformed into Sailor Saturn.
"Everyone ready?"
They all nodded and everyone split into two groups. Then he watched
them wage an all out battle on one another. Shingo stared as his sister
was kicked and punched, but at the same time, treating it as it was
nothing. She was too busy fighting. Everything went well until Tuxedo 
Kamen who was to his surpirse not Mamoru got distracted because Sailor 
Venus's skirt went up. He couldn't blame him though.
"ANDREW! STAY ON YOUR TOES!" Sailor Mars yelled and threw a high kick
to his face. Fortunately he was able to avoid by jumping to a high 
branch.
"Haha Sailor Mars" he said and jumped down. Andrew was rewarded with a
slap in the face. Never mess with the Senshi of Fire. Rubbing his cheek
he sat down to take a rest. No what noticed that the heavy branch he
was standing on was about to crash down on them. Shingo noticed. He
jumped out of his hiding place quickly and pushed Sailor Saturn out
of the way.The branch hit him hard on the head and he felt the warm 
blood run from the gash in his head. Hotaru ran to him and put his 
head in her lap.Tears filled her eyes.
"Why'd you do it?"
"It was worth it if it meant proving how much I love you",he replied
and passed out.As Sailor Uranus carried him out Hotaru stood sadly.
"He loves me",she whispered.

Sailormoon bit back the worried tears that threatened to fall from her
face. As Sailor Uranus carried her brother to the Tsukino house, she 
held a rag to the cut on his forehead. 'Dear God please let him be 
alright'  Saturn sobbed quietly as Neptune held her up to keep from 
falling to the ground in sadness. Andrew and Mamoru would meet them in
a few minutes. As they made their way to the Tsukino household,
Sailormoon swallowed her sobs. Her mother would definitely noticed if 
she was crying. Ikuko Tsukino would definitely have suspicions about
why Sailormoon was crying over her son. Standing in the doorway,
Sailormoon knocked loudly and could hear her mother's quick,light 
footsteps.
"Hello-Shingo!" Quickly ushering them in, Ikuko called for her husband
as Sailoruranus laid Shingo on the couch. Kenji Tsukino rushed in and
after looking at everyone he went to his son.
"What happened?" he asked and brushed a strand of hair off his son's
face.
"He got hit by a branch",Sailor Uranus said, and stood up."Sailor
Saturn,do you think you could do anything?"
"Y-Y-Yeah",she said shakily and knelt to put a hand to his forehead.
A light began to glow and concentrating for several minutes she removed
her hand. Sailormoon heard her mother gasp.The wound was gone, and now
Shingo was sleeping peacefully.
"Just keep him out of forests" Uranus warned and got up to leave. 
Neptune joined her and Sailormoon began to walk out of the room.
Only Ikuko noticed when Sailor Saturn kissed her son's forehead.
"Wait!",Kenji called to them as they left."Please tell us,how can we
repay you!"
"Your son's safety is all that matters" Sailormoon said but her father 
determination made him pursuit her as he put a hand on her
shoulder. As she stood in the doorway, her eyes seemed to fill with
tears.Perhaps out of relief or tiredness, but Kenji noticed. He 
wondered what had caused such sadness.
"Are you alright?",he asked in a fatherly tone. Ikuko walked up to them
and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Thank you",she said kindly. Sailormoon nodded and wiped her eyes.As
she put her hand down, it knocked off her transformation brooch.Before 
she could say a word, Sailormoon realized she had detransformed.There 
she stood in front of her parents who were suddenly quiet.
"We need to talk" Usagi said, and led the two in. The others followed
in silence. They were in big trouble.
