Review: "X" is a greatly formed and fluidly put together animation movie created by the same people responsible for "Ghost in the Shell". The characters in this film are amazing, and you learn a lot about the main character Kamui and his vow to protect his friends from danger. The film starts off nicely with a dream, and ends with a sad and action packed ending.
Story: The humans of earth are both good and evil, but unfortunately more are evil then are good. This unbalance between the two sides forces the beginning of the Apocalypse, which will decide the fate of the planet Earth. To fight this titanic battle, the greatest warriors from Earth must do battle witht he chosen forces of darkness. There are a few awesome fight scenes in this one, with each warrior having mastery over a particular element of nature. Buildings explode, streets collapse, and Tokyo is ripped apart. With an awesome musical score to add effect to the fighting, "X" is a good story with great characters and is a must see. |
