A little older now
OK, here is where I tell you about moi....me. Well, that is a loaded subject in which I can only tell about from my subjective point of view, but that's alright.
I have a great sense of humor and a wonderful imagination. I am 28-years-old, not quite old enough to want to hide my age. I've done the college thing twice now. I went first for the typical campus fun and a psychology degree.Then I figured out I wanted something else. A little late, but I guess better late than never. After a year and a half stint at a job that I loved but paid nothing, I returned for some more college fun! Notice my sense of irony. I graduated in May of 2001 with another degree in Marketing. Now for the hard part, finding a job. I'm doing the part-time thing till the economy gets better.
I have been writing poetry and the occasional short story since the age of fourteen. I included some from my adolescent, addicted to the dark side, period. But I am more upbeat now. I now have a few publisher's addresses so I might start trying to get paid a little for this hobby of mine.
I am a Christian, though I seem to attract friends from many faiths. I would love it if I could show by example that the second most important Christian law, besides love the Lord with all your heart and mind, is to love your neighbor as yourself. I often hear from my non-Christian friends that they are getting the opposite message from "religious" people. Well, I'm not religious. I go to church every Sunday.....wearing whatever my half-awake self puts on. I'm not a morning person, you see.
