Alone
My Addiction
I miss you so much
your smile,
your caress
your gentle touch.
I swear I see you, then I realize it's just a vision.
My heart sinks miles down,
my broad smile is replaced
with a dismal frown
The only thing that can heal me
...make me better, is a touch from you.
Your thousand-watt smile
that can turn my night into day.
Your love makes me high
you're like a drug and I'm addicted.
You're not here and I'm going through
Some serious withdrawal.
You are the sunset
in my evening
The moon
in my sky.
The only thing that keeps me going is the vision of you.
The sound of your breathing-
heavily into my ear, my world, my skin.
Boy your love is so good it must be a sin!
What do I miss about you? Is it your charming way?
Hmm, it begins with 4 and ends with play.
Naw Boo, I'm just playin',
I just want you to hear what I'm sayin'.
I wrote this poem to let you in
my head, my heart, my world.
You.
My addiction.
