1. Hiram Lindsay was born about 1796.

Hiram married Theodosia Smothers daughter of Daniel Smothers and Sarah Love on 29 Mar 1826 in Washington Co., Kentucky. Theodosia was born about 1810 in Kentucky.

They had the following children:

�	4	F	iii	Eliza J. Lindsay was born about 1832.
�	5	F	iv	Margaret Ann Lindsay was born about 1834.
�	6	F	v	Nancy Lindsay was born about 1836.
�	7	M	vi	William Lindsay was born about 1839.
�	8	F	vii	Mary Ellen Lindsay was born about 1841.
+	9	M	viii	Bluford Lindsay was born on 15 Oct 1843. He died on 29 Jan 1917.
�	10	M	ix	Hiram B. Lindsay was born about 1847.
�	11	F	x	Susan D. Lindsay was born in Oct 1851. She died on 23 Jul 1852.
