2. Edward Riggs II "The Sergeant" (Edward ) was born about 1614 in England. He died in 1668 in Newark, New Jersey.

Edward married Elizabeth Roosa on 5 Apr 1635 in Boston, Massachusetts. Elizabeth was born about 1614 in England. She died after 1688 in Newark, New Jersey.

They had the following children:

+	3	M	i	Edward Riggs III was born about 1636. He died about 1696.
�	4	M	ii	Samuel Riggs was born about 1640 in Milford, Connecticut.
�	�	�	�	Samuel married Sarah Baldwin.
�	5	M	iii	Joseph Riggs was born about 1642 in Milford, Connecticut.
�	6	F	iv	Mary Riggs.
�	�	�	�	Mary married George Day.
