.....There were about three dozen trick-or-treaters that came around last night all in about 3 hours. I let the kids pick from a bowl of candy to see which one was most popular, and Twix was number one out of six different ones, followed by Nestles Crunch.

.....Just got back from a 10 day trip back to the East Coast in Worcester Massachusetts. The weather was nice until last Friday when it started to rain and I think its still rainning there right now. The trees are just now starting to turn colors.

.....Fall has arrived. We had our first thunder storm of the season, and first real rain on Tuesday. That was fun. Thunder and lighting are rare in this part of the world.

.....I guess the president is taking the blame for all the screw ups, and delays with the Katrina response. Do you think he may be trying to get some attention because his ratings are so low now? Here is something to try. Do a Google search on "Failure" and see what comes up.

.....Labor Day. Celebrated on the first Monday in September, in honor of the working class. It also is the unofficial end of the summer season.

.....The past week has not been good for a lot of people and things. The Gulf Coast is in real bad shape right now after Katrina. The Red Cross can use some of Your money, so if you feel like donating a few bucks, Go here.

.....Nice weather here with mild temperatures and sunny skys. No new changes to the site yet. Guess I'm in a lazy summer mood right now.

.....Oh, is it Wednesday already? All is well in Northern California and not a lot to write about. My life is not exciting at all.

.....The weather has been nice here in Northern California, with only a few really hot days. the Space Shuttle back in action, but there still seems to be the same problem with stuff falling off the booster rockets.

.....Way to go Red Sox!
The Boston Red Sox stompped the Yankees 17 to 1 today, just like back in May at Yankee Stadium.
Looks like the Space Shuttle Discovery is grounded for a while til' they find out why the low-fuel sensor is not working.

.....Do you think today was a bad day for NASA and the space shuttle? After all it is the 13th day of the 7th month. They really don't want to take any chances. Even still, they try again on Saturday, but i'm not putting any money on it. You can watch it here on NASA TV live.
Gas is up to $2.51/gal at ARCO again, and looks like its still climbing.

.....Hello! Added a few more pictures to the folder in "2005May vacation" on my picture page. Weather is better than last week, and the few rainy days we had in the 60's. Gas is down to 2.25/gal. for regular. I should send more emails out to people than I do, and people should write me too.(hint)

.....I'm back from my two week vacation in Massachusetts where the weather still does not know its spring yet. Had a good time visiting family and friends. I should be uploading some new pictures in a few days.

.....Made a few minor changes on the main page.

.....I've bee using this program called "Skype" free Internet telephony to talk to people on the internet. Its a free download, and works really well, and the sound is very clear. Check it out at "Skype".(download size is about 6.3MB)
Gas price this week is about $2.52/gal.

.....Nice day today early, but got cloudy in mid-afternoon and a few drops of rain fell. Just enough to get my car dirty again. I just washed it three days ago. OK, I uploaded a few new pictures I got from Gina of the kids and stuff. Go here to see them in "April-2005" folder.

According to AAA, the average price of gasoline in the US on 31 March was $2.159 a gallon. Last year, the national average gasoline price peaked at $2.06. Prices in California could pass $3.00 a gallon by summer.

.....I can't imagine how it must be living in INDONESIA where earthquakes occure so often. They are not small quakes, but the kind that you feel. for example this week so far, they range from 5.0 to 8.7 that occured on Monday.

.....Thanks to all the Presidents for this day off. It was sunny this morning, but its raining right now. Temperature was 65 around noon, and at 1:30pm dropped down to 56. Just heard thunder outside, which is rare around here, and the wind has picked up.

.....Not much happening around here. Weather is about normal for this time of year. Haven't had an earthquake bigger than 4 in a long time. I guess thats good.

.....Almost Friday...The "Bush Party" was today. How long will the Bush clan run this Country do You think? Theres a new Bush cartoon at JIB-JAB in Flash movie. Its 5.8 MB's big, so I don't recommend it to dial-up users.

.....Made some changes on the index page. Added a few graphics on the hyperlinks to make it easyer to navigate.

.....Lots of rain here the past two weeks (rainning as I write this...)has the hills moving in some areas. In southern California, a hill side thats been moving since 1995( La Conchita) finally gave way and several homes below were buried. At least 12 people are unaccounted for.
