Juneau vs. Vincent
4-06-04

The Lady Pioneers lost to Vincent by a score of 13-11.  Senior Pitcher Mai Xiong was 3 for 4 at the plate with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Senior centerfielder Sarai Rosario was 2 for 3 at the plate, with 2 stolen bases and one run scored.  Senior 1st baseperson Lynda Knowles was 1 for 2 at the plate and scored twice.  Sophomore left-fielder Nicole Evans drew two walks, scored once and had 2 RBI.  Junior 3rd baseperson Keila Gaud scored one run and had 1 RBI.  Sophomore Brionna Sherill drew two walks and had one RBI.  Sophomore catcher Veronique Allem scored a run.
Defensively, the team was led by Mai's 7 strikeouts and Lynda's 5 putouts.  Senior shortstop LaTasha Pernell led the team with 2 assists.  Sophomore Jee Her also had an assist.
Juneau vs. Madison

The Lady Pioneers lost to Madison by a score of 15-6 in a cold and rainy game marred by errors.  Offensively, Juneau was led by senior shortstop LaTasha Pernell, who was 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored.  Nicole Evans and Veronique Allen both had 2 RBI.  Mai Xiong and Lynda Knowles each had 1 RBI.  Sarai Rosario, Mai Xiong, Nicole Evans and Brionna Sherrill all score one run to complete Juneau's scoring.  Defensively, Lynda Knowles led the team with 4 putouts.  Mai Xiong had two assists and struck out two batters.  LaTasha Pernell and Veronique Allen had one assist each.
Juneau vs. Pulaski

Mai Xiong pitched a no hitter and the Lady Pioneers defeated defending champ Pulaski by a score of 16-1.  The Rams' only run came from a Juneau error.  Offensive leaders for the game were:  LaTasha Pernell, who was 3 for 3 at the plate, with 3 runs and an RBI; Mai Xiong, who was 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 runs and 4 RBI; and Veronique Allen, who was 2 for 2 at the plate, with 2 runs and 3 RBI.  Lynda Knowles had 2 hits and Brionna Sherrill got her first hit of the season.  Nicole Evans scored two runs and had 2 RBI.  Jee Her scored a run and 2 RBI.
Defensively, Juneau didn't have to do too much because Mai struck out all but one batter.
Juneau vs. WCLL
4-27-04

After another great performance by our pitcher, the Lady Pioneers defeated WCLL 10-3.  Mai Xiong struck out 9 of 18 batters to assure the win.  Offensively, Nicole Evans was 2 for 2 at the plate with 4 RBI.  Veronique Allen was 2 for 3 at the plate with a run.  Lynda Knowles was 2 for 3 at the plate with 2 runs and 2 RBI.  Mai Xiong was 2 for 3 at the plate with 3 runs and 2 RBI.  Arsenia Coleman got her first hit of the season.
Defensively, in addition to 9 strikeouts, pitcher Mai Xiong had 4 assists.  Lynda Knowles had 6 putouts including a double play.  LaTasha Pernell, Nicole Evans, and Brionna Sherrill each had one put out.
