ABOUT ME
J Louis Messina spent his childhood in Los Angeles, California. He loved to write stories and cartoons at an early age by making cartoon books, but first became interested in becoming a writer in 9th Grade, inspired by his favorite writers: Ray Bradbury, Mark Twain, and Jack London. He also pursued acting, and appeared in numerous plays. He sold his first professional story The Smelly, Smelly Tennis Shoes, to Boys Life (the very first kids story hed written) and followed that with selling his next story, The Thing in Adams Room, to Boys Life as well.
