OUR LITTLE GARDEN

We have a beautiful garden of love,

It s cultivated and weeded

We`ve kept it watered carefully

and done everything that was needed.

The caring and the sharing,

The tears and all the pain,

In tending our lovely garden,

Has proved to be our gain.

We` ve raised two beautiful roses,

One cream and pink and white,

The other is a beautiful red

And both are such a delight.

Each flower in our garden,

Is special and unique,

The odor from their perfume

Is pleasant and so sweet.

We `ve also had some prickly thorns,

Along the winding path,

But as each passing year goes by,

We just look back and laugh.

The old oak tree in the corner,

With birds nestling in the leaves,

Gives shade to the full blown rose,

That`s dancing in the breeze.

It`s pleasant in our garden,

Now the pruning`s all been done,

As we watch it grow and blossom

Now the weeds and thorns are gone.
