Amy Grant

Here is my tribute to Amy Grant. It's a little desktop theme that I hope meets with your approval. This was the one theme I wanted to get right. If you look at some of my other themes, you can tell I took some shortcuts.

Just a few notes on the theme: The wallpapers are all 1024x768. Set your display at 24-bit or higher for best results. It comes with original cursors, some animated, some not. It comes with a set of original icons. The sound events are all encoded with MP3, so you will need Windows Media Player 6.4 or better. To install the theme, just open the exe file and specify your default theme directory. Get Desktop Architect if you don't have it. It will make the install easier because that what I used to create this theme in the first place!

In case you've never heard of Amy Grant or her music, here's your chance to hear some tidbits. On the left I've included a short clip of my favorite song from each of her albums. Amy Grant has been around a long time. Her first record came out in 1977 when she was just a teenager. She's always written some of the most upbeat, inspiring music around. Her earlier work is music worthy of any church service. Filled with praise and love of Jesus Christ. She dominated the Contemporary Christian scene and raised the bar for everyone in Christian music. Her later music is directed more towards the larger, secular, Pop music scene. But she never let go of her roots. The later records are still filled with Christian messages and are generally very positive. A quality that you just don't find today.
