The account of Martha McClintock administratrix and John McClintock administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights and credits which were of William McClintock late of Brandywine Hundred and county of Newcastle, farmer, deceased, as well of and for such and so much of the goods, chattels, rights and credits afresaid as same to tiehr hands as of and for their several charges payments and disbursments out of the same as followeth, to wit.

Personally appeared Martha Tod one of the respondants above named who being duly sworn doth say that John McClintock was a coadministrator with this ___ the settlement of the estate of the said William McClintock, that the settlement of the same was entirely managed by him, and the amount of the administration in allowed and prepared by the Register was settled by the said John McClintock and the vouchers obtained by him. And this ____ saith that since the 1st ____ of the said account John McClintock the coadministrator hath departed this life, without having delivered the said vouchers to this ____ or any person for ____ that ___ she received notice of the above app____ she has made diligent inquiry of the communication of the said John McClintock and has not___ been able to obtain any information on writing(?) them.

Exceptions to account of Martha McClintock administratrix and John McClintock admiistrator of William McClintock. ____ the third day of April 1807, which said Martha survived the said John her coadministrator, and also to the account of James Tod and the said Martha his wife who by the name of Martha McClintock was surviving administrator of William McClintock deceased ___ the 23rd day of June AD 1824, which exceptions are taken ____ on behalf of John Allmond and Jane his wife, late Martha McClintock and a child of the said William McClintock. riz.

First – that the said accountants have not accounted for all the goods, chattels, ____ and ____ of the said William McClintock and particularly ____ book debts, ___ and notes due and owing to the said William McClintock at the time of his decease.

Second – That the items, numbered, four, five, six, eight, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty-one, twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty, thirty three, thirty six, thirty seven, forty four, forty five, forth seven, forth eight, fifty, fifty two on the ____ side of the first mentioned account and are not supported by ____ legal vouchers, and ought not for other reasons to have been paid.

Third – The allowance to the said administrators granted in the said just mentioned account is under the circumstances of the case unreasonable and improper and ought not to have been allowed.

Fourth – That the balance of $234.52, stated to be in the hands of the said administrators, by the said first mentioned account is ____ than ____ sum actually in their hands.

Fifth – That the balance charged in the last mentioned account as remaining in the hands of the administrators as per settlement April 3rd, 1807 is small and erroneous.

Sixth – That the items in the said last mentioned account, on the ____ ____ there of and numbered, one, tow, three, four, five, six and seven are not supported by regular legal vouchers and for other reasons ought not to have been allowed, particularly the interest of the said debts.

Fourth – That in the payment of debts sought against the said estate the administrators have improperly paid and have been improperly allowed for the payment of interest thereon for a long and unreasonable period of time.

Eight - That the commissions allowed ____ administrators in the said last mentioned account, are unreasonably sought not to be allowed.

Ninth – That the balance of $1,935.35, charged to have been over paint by the said administrators is erroneous, ____.

For which said exception ____ the said executors pray that the said accounts may be reexamined revised in the orphans court and finally ____ and adjusted ____ ____, of the right of the matter and the said exceptions ____ that the said accountants may be compelled to produce at the commencement of the court the book and books of accounts of the said William McClintock, ____other deceased and also all honor, notes and other evidences of debts remain in either ____ at his decease.
