GAME #2

The first encounter with the expansion Players squad was an interesting affair to say the least.  With an obnoxious heckler (at least Jake Flemming was able increase his vocabulary), a few borderline calls and no time for smoke breaks, Patty White sure had his hands full on this night.  To make it even more interesting, the next time these teams play each other a call to Mr. Wayne Dufour should be placed

Offensively, the team hit the ball extremely well, scoring 22 runs in the first game.  Of note was a Dufour first of two grand salamis on the same night by Nopy and Clance.  There hasnt been a greater tag team effort since Munden spent the night with Lucy Hill and Tammy Van Norden

Defensively, no glaring errors to report.  There was a magnificent stab at short by Nopy and a fantastic play by Paul at third (unfortunately the great play by Paul was ruint by a premature stretch by Clancey).

Good to get back on track with the wins.  Short-staffed next week, those playing will have to pick it up a bit to keep the ticks in the win column coming
