| Much like that kiss between Britney and Madonna, they�ll be talking about this event for a very long time. �Fish Fry� Flemming used his take-out weight strength to punish the ball over the fence not once, not twice, but thrice. However, the record books will not reflect all of these homers, as the five-run rule ended the inning prematurely on two of these homers. Unfortunately, Paul�s son Jake did not see any of his dad�s dingers as he was busy fighting off Marcattili�s advances for his cracker and cheese snacks. Congrats Paul. This weekend is when it counts, can you bring it? Dufour continued to dominate the Steel Kings with yet another sweep. The towel was thrown 5 innings into the first game and the results were much the same in the second game. Defensively, Dufour was not bad, but for the second straight night did not seem completely on their game. A few uncharacteristic misses by Nopy at short, and nobody�s sure about what�s going on in right field� But the good news is the bats were on fire yet again. Darryl returned to form with a 7 for 7 night and 5 RBIs. Welcome back, enjoy your weekend on the Island. Nopy had two HRs, and with a pending rain out for the final game of the year, will lead in all hitting categories. A feat worthy of one (1) free beer on the weekend. Congrats Nopy, great year! With some tightening up on the defence, Dufour should be defending their title in the finals next week. Another great year boys! |
