| Back to back to back. No, were not talking about highlights from the movie Add Momma to the Train, this was how Dufour came from behind to beat Lighting Source in the first game of the double header. Down 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh, Nopy, Maunder, and Clancey (#2, #3 and #4 respectively in the batting lineup) all hit monster solo dingers to win the game. The second game was never in doubt as Dufour put five on the board in the first and never looked back. This pushes the streak to 6 in a row and, much to the chagrin of the rest of the league, Dufour looks to be gaining back their form of old. It would be remiss not to mention Dave Who does this guy think he is Im Keith Hernendez Welchers sheer dominance in the outfield. An amazing, flat out diving catch, was later followed by several high pitch squeals calling Travis and Maunder off balls. It was even reported he tried to call #43 off a few, but Maunder easily bounced him back to his left-centre position. Incredibly, Welcher did not once pull up lame. Scott I bet Lance Armstrong couldnt handle the rotary Travis filled in nicely in left for the injured Jr. The managers son reportedly pulled a hammy in a wild accident which occurred Saturday night at a rockin party in Tantallon. Great sweep boys. The extra-inning loss in the rain was certainly avenged. We finish the season with no ticks in the L column. Stamped it. #43 out. |
