| Watching paint dry. Watching grass grow. Watching an episode of the Gilmore Girls. These are things that are more exciting than last night�s game. A short-staffed Penny squad was no match for Dufour�s highly potent offence. Homeruns were the order of the day as the teams combined for 9 homeruns (well the Penny only had two of these but one reportedly landed in someone�s popcorn at the IMAX Theatre). Even little Danny Munden got in on the act with his first-ever smack over the fence. Danny promptly went home assuming Dawn would give some loving for this amazing feat. But like the rest of the Dufour wives, she didn�t really give a shit. Another date with the Penny on Tuesday. Hopefully they�ll have a full team. Otherwise, stay home and watch CBC�s Tuesday night lineup featuring �Wind at my Back�. #43 out. |
