| Well, well, well, another regular season finished, another championship for Dufour, and an astonishing 26 wins, and 2 losses. A short staffed silver and black had nothing to fear when the likes of Rockingham's own Greg Sewell, and one time Dufour legend Troy Royal filled in on this evening. Nothing flashy on this night, but enough runs, and stingy enough defense to notch the final two vics of the regular season. Many on the team predicted an undefeated second half and hit the nail right on the head. Is it safe to say that this is the year to rid of the hex, only time will tell but I say that if we bring the ball we brought all year we cannot be beaten...plain and simple. Individual achievements...I think not!! Props to all who wore the jersey in 2002. A record breaking season, a fantastic effort, and most importantly, what we should all reflect on come playoff time.....a shitload of fun.!! September classic next, but not before some B.P. a couple of evenings next week. Well done guys!! Clance out !! |
