GAME #2

DUFOUR:
15 SCRAMBLERS: 12
Another split has the Dufour boys sitting on two losses, and ten wins.  A much different feel to this split than last weeks it's safe to say.  The Scramblers are without a doubt the toughest opponent we have encountered yet, and will be a force down the stretch with their solid bats from the top of their order to the bottom.  The good news is that our lineup batted right with them, and were inches away from the clean sweep this past Wednesday evening.  What will keep Dufour victorious over teams like the Scramblers is pesky defense, and closing the door on the big innings.  The inability to put the third out in our pocket cost us dearly in some cases on this night..
Offensively, it was wonderful to see a great team effort at the plate, but more importantly, a huge improvement from our previous trip to the diamond.  Adrian Morgan continues his torrid hitting pace with another bomb.  Danny Munden continues to have a wonderful year at the plate, and appears more of the Dan of old daily.  And easily the highlight of the night was Jamie's pop fly that caught a severe easterly and exited the park, making this the most players ever in the H.R. column for this squad.  Let us not forget about the only guy who can K twice in one game of slo-pitch and still find things in others to laugh at. Get to the cages K ing K ong cause this jokes on you!!

Great split guys!!!                                                                                           Clance
